What we collect, and why
If you join the waitlist we collect your name, your work email address, your agency name and, if you choose to give it, a rough number of travellers you handle each month.
We use it to email you about Try Packed — when we open up, when there's something to try, and occasionally to ask what you'd find useful. Nothing else.
Our lawful basis is consent, which you gave by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing privacy@trypacked.com.
We won't sell your details or share them with other travel businesses.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to host the site, store the waitlist and send our email. The database is in London; our email, hosting and domain providers are US-based, so your details are transferred there under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. They act on our instructions and can't use your details for their own purposes.
The site uses no cookies. We use cookieless tools from our host to see which pages are visited and how quickly the site loads. They don't collect anything that identifies you personally.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it — whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or restrict how we use it, or to send it somewhere else. Email privacy@trypacked.com and we'll respond within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
